Soul

Man, my knee is acting up again
Always happen during this kind of times
Need to rest
Sigh

I miss alot of things
Sophan, WJ and me were talking abt scouting
haha how I miss pioneering

I miss sessioning too
So much fun and so much bullshit haha
When we grow up, things just gets more boring I guess
But I still love dancing
Be it any styles
The ability to just rock to any song
Love man

Sometimes people talk about they getting stress over dance
Taking so much of their time and complaining about it
And blame dancing for alot of things
I feel that it so unfair to blame dancing like that

If in your opinion that Dancing is the blame to all your shit
Then you should stop
Why continue on something that brings you more negativity

Others who have dance for some time might question themselves
"Is it difficult to enjoy dancing now?"
When we all first started, everything was carefree and easy
But the longer we grow, the expectation of standards elevates

To me its Never difficult to enjoy dancing
To those that feel its difficult to enjoy it,
The cause is the nature of seeking for improvement
Dancing is never difficult to enjoy
Its the feeling of being stuck, inferior to others or expectations
That are causing the downside

But somehow its this Love for the art that have us improving on it
Yet we must never ever forget the essence of,
Why we Start in the first place? And Why did we continue?
Its all Love

Every new style that I learn
Every new moves that I discover
Gives me Fire and a different Heartbeat to this form
Its never gonna stop

Peace all :)

Mama

Kanye is a beast.
One of the best Lyricist out there.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Last night I saw you in my dreams, Now I can't wait to go to sleep.
Last night I saw you in my dreams, Now I can't wait to go to sleep.
My m-m-m-m Mama

I wanna scream so loud for you, cuz I’m so proud of you an a
Let me tell you what I’m about to do
Mama, You know I act a fool but, I promise you I’m goin back to school an
I appreciate what you allowed for me, an a

I was three years old, when you and I moved to the Chi
Late December, harsh winter gave me a cold
You fixed me up something that was good for my soul
Famous homemade chicken soup, can I have another bowl?
You work late nights just to keep on the lights
Mommy got me training wheels so I could keep on my bike
And you would give anything in this world
Michael Jackson leather and a glove, but didn’t give me a curl
And you never put no man over me
And I love you for that mommy cant you see?
Seven years old, caught you with tears in your eyes
Cuz somebody cheatin, telling you lies, then I started to cry
As we knelt on the kitchen floor
I said mommy Imma love you till you don’t hurt no more
And when I’m older, you aint gotta work no more
And Imma get you that mansion that we couldn’t afford
See you’re, unbreakable, unmistakable
Highly capable, lady that’s makin loot
A livin legend too, just look at what heaven do
Send us an angel, and I thank you

Mama, I wanna scream so loud for you, cuz I’m so proud of you an a
Let me tell you what I’m about to do
Mama, You know I love you so an, I never let you go an I wrote this song just so you know no matter when you go

Last night I saw you in my dreams, Now I can't wait to go to sleep.
Last night I saw you in my dreams, Now I can't wait to go to sleep.
Last night I saw you in my dreams, Now I can't wait to go to sleep.

This life, is all a dream, an my real life starts when I go to sleep.
My m-m-m-m Mama

Respect

Respect can be for alot of things
But for now Im going to talk about Respect for the STAGE

The stage is where we(dancers) channel our expression and
work of art to the people. It is the platform that gives us
this special oppurtunity. Yet it is our friend and it can
also be our worst enemy.

Be it in any form, Competition or Performance, Respect has
to be given where it is due. One would question how to give
a flat piece of surface Respect?

Answer: Easy, Put up a good performance.

Doing it is another thing. Effort has to be put in. Sweat has
to drip.

- Angles must be Clean
- Formation cannot be Messy
- Traffic is Clear
- Costumes are Fresh
- Routine is Tight

The Stage deserve a good and sincere performance.

Thats Respect.

Someone once told me, "Dont dance for yourself, Dance for
others, Dance for Him"
It gave me and my buddies new motivation, new light, new direction.

What about you? What do you think?
"Dance for others, Dance for Him"

FD :)
